Beware. I’m going to start babble about local convention. For those afraid of wall of text short summary: It was totally awesome!

It all started few days ago while I was helping Bea to finish her dollies. Unfortunately due to technical problems she couldn’t present them in their final version but still many people were amazed by them (because they are amazing! :) )

Said preparations on my part were sewing two dresses (that couldn’t be properly presented because dollies don’t have arms and legs casted yet :< ) and doing a last minute make up for Elisheva. I’m pretty proud of it because well, for thing done late at night, without proper lighting and with only one hour of time it looks pretty good :D

On our stand we were also presenting Bea second doll Lucia.

We’ve got lots of fun and dollies got really warm reception but it’s only half of the whole awesomeness of this convention. Second part were people both old friends and new ones :)

And drawings! I’ve got/traded some drawings :3

First: amazing chibi Taru from Megan

Actually I asked for him year ago but because of ivul circumstances I got original now. I’m so happy she remembered about it and well… I love ya Meg <3

Next picture was from Bea. It’s her Lineage II character Beatrix (the most lethal Shilien Elder ever ;P )

Then I traded pictures with lovely sy-noir :3 (believe me, her sketchbook is amazing *.* ) I didn’t have references for anything else so I got Quorra C:

Bea finished her super-awesome dress for my Momo. She looks so cute and delicate in it which makes it doubleawesome because Mosia, by default, looks kind of annoyed (if not sad, but it’s normal for Dollstown girls).

And since I was bad person lately and neglected my dollies. Please beware of little doll spam ;)

Finally my and Bea stuff arrived. Of course we had to blitzkrieg customs and pay ransom to get them :S

But all this stuff is so awesome! We spend few hours playing with dolls like little girls to check all possible combinations :B

But enough of my blabling. Prepare for photo spam :>  (and beware of wild Lios running around :B )

Mosiek Manson (Dollstown Momo) in wig Bea bought for her soon-to-be-sculpted girls. It’s so beautiful (sad part is it was only wig that suited Mosia, rest of them was too small. Need to find other wig source than Luts and god-damn-that-stealers- Leeke)

Beatrix Helevorn  (Resinsoul Mei) This white wig is stunning *.* It has warm white colour but it still has violet tinge to it. Pity my camera isn’t capable of fully presenting it’s awesomeness.

Leopold von Lievkow (Luts Zuzu Delf Lio)  he is way too adorable so prepare for picture spam :B

Since she feels bit neglected because latest dollie purchase was mostly for Leopold. Besides, while I was finishing annoying school project, I just have to take lil break, and why not spend it at something amazingly unproductive :>

Those photos were taken totally without any thinking at all. She just sits around like that and well, camera lies nearby ~~~~ :>

Small progress (but time consuming >.< ) again. She finally starts to look like I wish her to look :)

I put wet clay on her again.

After it dried I sanded it down + played around with wet brush. It do wonders :D

And then I cut her eyes again :>

I’m so~~ tired but also happy :3

Due to all rush caused by Futaba festival I didn’t have time to post it earlier. Quite a big progress this time. Because sometimes to make any progress you have to take step back I filled her eyes with laDoll, sanded her quite a bit and started to work on her symmetry.

Aside digging her eyes again I have to work mostly on her lips and chin. And most evil thing ever - symmetry =.=

I’ve been busy few last days but even though there is small progress in my dollie project :>

First, I got bored/annoyed because lack of visible progress so I dug one eye to make her look more like a actual doll ^^”’

And I’ve made my previous mistake (I’ve made same mistake with real life head 1:1 study) of digging said eye too high >.<

Then I’ve got more sadistic so I’ve dug her brain out :B Which was wise decision because it was cracked inside :<

I let it dry and in meanwhile I’ve took some comparison photos with my Dollstown Momo head.

Yep, it’s smaller and it’s intended to be. Momo head is pretty big (well Mosia is pretty big as for MSD in general ^^”’ )

Later we decided that Maya head looks much to manly for dollfie  so I’ve added wet laDoll to make her face more feminine. I’d have to sand it down a bit, reshape her very roughly formed eyes and still work on her feminine side >.<”.

I’m afraid male heads would be more of my thing ^^”

Not much of a progress because I don’t have time on weekends :<

Anyway, after head dried up I’ve decided that there is too much of a chin.

At beginning I’ve tried to sand it down but quickly got impatient. So I’ve tried to use some knife. It works wonderfully! And makes sound like this of peeling an apple :D

But this technique has some disadvantages. Pointy knife tip to be exact.

(yup! that red dot is my blood. hope any voodoo stuff won’t happen and it won’t come to life XD )

After that I’ve proceed to reshape her jaw (again I’ve made it too big, would cut off later) and add basic nose and forehead shape.

It looks kinda creepy without lips, but they are too detailed to add them now :S

Dry up fast lil dollie ~~ :>
